Doga Unmulan series, started in 2015, is coming to an end with its final conclusive part: Doga Ast is releasing this month. It will be an 80 page comics, the initial five issues were of 32 pages and later the page length was increased to 64 in past two issues.
The series introduced a very powerful villain: Nirmulak. First time Doga faced an enemy who is equally strong and brave. He used Doga’s get up to murder some old criminals and created chaos in the city by publicly open firing multiple times. He successfully turned Mumbai and his loved ones against Doga. Everyone believed that this duplicate Doga is the real Doga and has gone out of control killing people. In the encounters so far Doga was helpless in front of his enemies. Lomdi and Kirtimaan had to come to save and rescue Doga and he was unconscious for long time.
Parallely the series is also exploring the childhood story of Ansh and Suraj. Later it was confirmed that Ansh is Nirmulak, his family was killed in the fire and Yusuf was responsible for it. Now Ansh has returned as Nirmulak, burning in the fire of vengeance and he wants to burn the world and Doga in it. In Doga Ast, finally we expect to see the action packed final encounter between Doga and Nirmulak.
The artwork in the series has been fantastic so far, specially the action scenes. The pace of story had took a dip in last few issues as the series has been dragged for so long, the Ansh childhood part will also has to be concluded in this part. The dialogues has been tremendous in Doga’s comics and this series is no exception, Mandar has penned some terrific dialogues which kept the reader hooked throughout the series and the same is expected in Doga Ast.
Doga Ast is expected to go on sale online in the first week of April.
